Volunteers
Volunteers are integral to our non-profit theater company, contributing to every aspect of our organization. Opportunities abound across various disciplines throughout the season. Volunteer opportunities will be posted in our newsletter, which you can subscribe to, or you can sign up directly through the provided link to receive email notifications.
Board Members
We are always looking for committed, compassionate, devoted board members who can assist the company in myriad ways, which includes fund-raising, ticket sales, policy making, strategic planning and financial monitoring, Board members are not required to have a background in theater but should have a desire to learn to help drive the company to success.
Marketing
We're assembling a marketing team to boost promotion and amplify the voice of our company. Through crafting compelling content, engaging with the community, and championing diversity and inclusion through theater, the marketing team will also aim to further our reach beyond Asbury Park, enhancing its reputation as a popular destination with our unique flavor of LGBTQ+ entertainment.
Social Media
Theater Q Asbury’s social media team will be creating engaging and inclusive content that celebrates diversity and promotes our productions, events, and community initiatives. They'll be responsible for managing our social media platforms, fostering meaningful interactions with our audience, while staying informed about current trends and conversations within the LGBTQ+ and theater communities.
Community Outreach & Partnerships
The Community Outreach and Partnership team will be forging meaningful connections with local organizations and businesses. They will spearhead collaborative efforts to promote inclusivity and diversity, while advancing our presence within the community. This team will play a crucial role in building new audiences and expanding our reach and impact beyond the stage.
Playwrights, Directors, Choreographers, Musical Directors, Musicians,
Actors, Stage Managers, Designers, Technical Crew Members
We will be maintaining a database of interested artists and craftspeople, who will receive advanced notice of casting calls and production team needs for each show. Additionally, we plan to organize special events and networking opportunities to foster community engagement and collaboration among artists.
