...what the end will be by Mansa Ra is a powerful intergenerational comedy that explores the dynamics of three generations of Black gay men living under one roof.

The play weaves together themes of pride, pain, patience, and the complexities of Black masculinity through the lens of these unique fathers and sons. Bartholomew, the family patriarch, is grappling with cancer, his son Maxwell, a successful professional who remains closeted at work is struggling in his marriage to a white man, and Maxwell's son Tony, is hiding his love for a classmate.

The play is not just a profound exploration of sexuality and mortality but also a heartfelt reflection on the privilege and challenge of kinship within the queer community. Mansa Ra offers a reparative and hopeful vision of generational bonds within Black queer families.
